Welcome to Video Design House (VDH)! At VDH, each member has more than 10 years of analog and digital video design experience including hardware, software, firmware, embedded and windows application as well as providing MPEG, DVD, DTV training courses. Case 1: MPEG-2 Back-end Board:

Customer wanted a back-end MPEG2 decoder board to verify MPEG2 transport video and audio data stream from their front-end receiver.

VDH was able to finish:
1. circuit design,
2. board layout,
3. basic software drivers library
    routines,
4. five complete working
    prototype boards delivered
    within 4 months!

Case 2: 8-VSB/QAM and DVB-T Front-end Board:

Customer wanted VDH to optimize ATSC and DVB-T front-end design as well as provide low-cost solution.

1. re-design IF and AGC circuit,
2. chose cost-effective and high
    performance demodulation
    chip,
3. layout front-end PC board
4. deliver 3 prototype boards

Case 3: Digital TV/NTSC PCI PC card:

Simple PCI TV tuner card can receive NTSC and ATSC signals. Requested by customer and wanted a quick production result.

VDH used softMPEG decoder approach to quickly design PCI card hardware, Windows device driver (WDM) and GUI application within 4 months.

Case 4 : MPEG-4 Video-on-Demand (VOD) Set-Top Box Board:

Oversea customer wanted VDH build a MPEG4 decoder/encoder box in order to receive MPEG4 data wirelessly.

2. implemented Windows GUI
    program to display line-21
    data, closed caption and

Case 9 : Internet/Interactive TV Reference Board:

Major HDTV/PC Monitor company asked VDH to design TV tuner and control software on their iTV/TV browser board.
